2. The harmonic drive of the harmonic geared motor uses the controllable elastic deformation of the flexible element to transmit motion and power. It is not large in size and has high precision, but the disadvantage is that the life of the flexible wheel is limited, it is not resistant to impact, and the rigidity and metal parts relatively poor. The input speed should not be too high.

3. The advantages of planetary geared motors are that the structure is relatively compact, the return clearance is small, the precision is high, the service life is very long, and the rated output torque can be very large. But the price is slightly more expensive.

Geared motors are generally used for low-speed and high-torque transmission equipment. The power of the motor, internal combustion engine or other high-speed operation is achieved by meshing the gears with a small number of teeth on the input shaft of the geared motor with the large gears on the output shaft to achieve the purpose of deceleration. Ordinary geared motors will also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the ideal deceleration effect. The ratio of the number of teeth of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio. The purpose of the reduction box (or gearbox) is:
