If it is used in low-speed applications, can it be done with only an ordinary low-speed motor? Or how about a servo motor? Of course, only an ordinary low-speed motor will not work. Under normal circumstances, the speed ratio of the reducer can be as low as 1:3 or even Smaller, can also be higher than 1:180 or even larger. That is to say, when the ordinary motor speed is 1380 rpm (4-pole motor), the output speed of the reducer can be as high as 460 rpm or even greater, or as low as 7.6 rpm or less. However, ordinary motors cannot achieve such a large speed change range. Even if it is a multi-pole variable speed motor, the speed of the fastest 2-pole motor is about 2880-2970 rpm, and the speed of the lowest 12-pole motor is 480-490 rpm. about. If the equipment only needs a few tens of revolutions per minute, the ordinary motor will not work, which is why the motor needs to add a reducer.
